About the Artist

Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841–1919) was a French Impressionist painter renowned for his radiant depictions of leisure, beauty, and light. A central figure in the Impressionist movement, Renoir developed a style characterized by vibrant color, fluid brushwork, and a warm, intimate atmosphere.
